Hello! I'm Leah, an educator, cultural explorer, and lifelong learner.

Born in Toronto and raised in New York, I’ve traveled across Europe, the former Soviet Union, and Venezuela—experiences that shaped my deep appreciation for global cultures and diversity. I hold a BA in International Relations and Art History and am TESOL-certified, with extensive experience teaching English in multicultural settings.

I currently live in Neulengbach, Austria, where I spend much of my time outdoors with my three children, exploring nature and learning together. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—from working in design in New York City to leading science education initiatives in Florida, where I developed STEM kits for schools in partnership with organizations like the Girl Scouts of America.

Alongside my late husband, I also co-founded a small art gallery in Vienna specializing in Amazonian art, which I now maintain as a nonprofit project in his memory.

Today, I focus on combining my passions—science, culture, art, and language—into enriched ESL programs for learners here in Austria. My goal is to inspire curiosity, foster global awareness, and encourage a deeper connection with the natural world.

Whether in the classroom or out in nature, I believe education should spark wonder, build community, and celebrate our shared humanity.
